Ricotta and chocolate pie is a delicious and simple classic, you don't need to be a master chef to make it! A mouth-watering dessert suitable for any occasion.
Ingredients for
4 servings
- 300 g of 00 flour
- 100 g of sugar
- 100 g of butter
- Seeds of a vanilla pod
- 1 egg
- 1/2 sachet of baking powder
- A pinch of salt
- Per the filling:
- 500 g of Sabelli ricotta
- Sour cherry juice
- 80 g of sugar
- 200 g of dark chocolate

Method
Mix the chopped butter with flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder in a bowl with your fingertips. Shape into crumbs. Add the egg and mix quickly. Pour the ricotta into a bowl, add the sugar, and mix; break up the chocolate and add it to the ricotta mixture. Line a cake tin of 22cm diameter with greaseproof paper. Place three-quarters of the pastry mixture on the bottom. Fill with the ricotta cream and top with a spoonful of sour cherry juice. Close the cake with the remaining dough. Bake at 180°C for 30/35 minutes.
